A-Team Youth & Family is a trauma-informed agency providing home and community-based services designed to promote healing, safety, and family stability. Services
Home-Based Casework
We help families build skills in communication, supervision, household structure, and emotional connection. Our caseworkers provide hands-on support to reduce safety risks, improve family functioning, and prevent out-of-home placements.
Homemaker / Parent Aid
We assist families in managing daily responsibilities—such as household organization, routines, hygiene, and time management—while modeling positive parenting behaviors.
Traditional Visit Supervision
Our staff provide neutral, monitored settings where children and caregivers can maintain connection. Visit supervisors ensure child safety while documenting key observations.
Home-Based Therapy
Licensed therapists provide in-home counseling to children, youth, and caregivers facing trauma, behavioral health challenges, or emotional distress. Therapy sessions are personalized and rooted in evidence-based practices.
Parenting & Family Assessments
Our trained assessors conduct comprehensive in-home evaluations that identify parenting strengths and needs. Reports include observations and recommendations to guide service planning.
Domestic Violence Support
We provide supportive services to survivors of domestic violence and their children, including trauma recovery tools, emotional regulation support, and safe parenting interventions.
Parent Education
Our parenting programs teach caregivers practical skills to strengthen their parenting style, build trust, and respond to child behaviors with confidence and empathy.
Therapeutic Visit Supervision
We offer structured visit coaching to help parents rebuild healthy relationships with their children. These supervised visits provide guidance, reflection, and skill-building opportunities in a safe environment.
Father Engagement
We work with fathers to strengthen their involvement in their children's lives through specialized fatherhood programs that promote nurturing, discipline, and communication
Truancy Prevention
Our truancy program helps youth and families overcome attendance barriers, reengage with school, and build routines for long-term educational success.
